Some say we are nuts (spending all that cash on these things) but I say it’s great fun and as a plus, you keep yourself fit when you run around the forest with a full loadout.
A Finnish Namsoft event, Charlie Point 2, is drawing closer. It’s still a month or so off (1st of August) but getting ready for it is already in full swing. I can’t wait to test my new pup tent and the rest of the new gear I have in stock. Still need a few items, like a poncho, transistor radio (not absolutely necessary but would be a cool add) and some other misc kit. There’s still time, but only so much money…
On other news, I’ve done some work on Jungle Fever. The A Shau island is getting a city. That’s right, a city! It’s located at the NE part of the island, at the waters edge, where there’s a small army base. The city will be built there to enable some TET and RnR scenarios that people might want to make. Don’t know if anyone still play the mod, but making new stuff for it is relaxing and fun either way.
Jungle Fever is not dead. Just watch, more info will be posted once I get a chance to write down something more.
As you might have noticed, the blog interface has changed a bit. This is due to an update I made to the blog software and the old skin is not compatible without updates, so I cannot just use it without it giving a heap of errors. I will try to get the skin back online ASAP, but in the meantime, this current skin will be the one that is going to be used in the blog.
Oh, one more thing. Check this out:
Well, after another VERY long break of nothing, I’ve again decided to put my ass into gear. Here’s something from the workshop. I’ll leave the guessing for which mod these will be for you. Enjoy, I guess.![]()

‘Charlie’s on the radio, talking to me…
-but I got my CAR-15′
It’s been a long time since the last update, again. No good excuses I guess, I’ve just been busy once more. University has been taking a lot of my time this semester, but luckily it’s just about over. Only a few papers to hand in and that’s it.
I’ve been easy on modding, have not done much; neither for OFP or ArmA. Instead of that, I’ve been browsing a lot of the airsoft Vietnam community forums, like this one. I’ve also extended my ‘Nam gear with a M56 harness and a CISO made ruck. Next up are some dogtags and the most important, a weapon.
I made a new category, General, for posts like this one and others. General is a section reserved for ‘general’ Vietnam related rants, like ‘Nam airsoft, movies and other stuff that I can think of.
