Probably around another 6, then moving on again for another 5 or 6. Overall when put together it will be 18 - 20 missions!

Tried the campaign again!

I also read the briefing. I got mentioned for being harsh!  armata_PDT_12
Anyways, here's my judging now lol

Nice intro. Now the story started to roll. Nice with the outer view around the soldiers then starting first mission from that same point. good one. Nice music choice! The ride in first mission up to the area is soooo much more bareable then before. The music and the chatter makes the long ride fly by in no time now. Good one. Oh also liked the fade in the music volume, nice pre work for when ya get the voices in. Ah yeah forgot, i had a bit low FPS at the base in the beginning of the mission. But that's probably due to the stuff standing around and flying about. When i was in the jungle i had 20 again so it's ok i guess. But if you can somehow make it work better try to do so. Nice sound fx here and there like the radio chatter. Also good thinking when you updated the mission for that 4 men patrol. I was wounded in that first contact and was missing my legs and at the very second the mission got updated i was healing at a medic. But didn't finish that, good to see the player got healed fully anyways. (yeah medevac, i know) One of the radio sounds (radio check from platoon) was in stereo format so didn't sound like it was played from the rto. Further more while we (4 men patrol) were just moving out and stepped into the jungle the guys we left behind got attacked. When we got back from the now not so long patrol as in previous version of this mission (  armata_PDT_34 ) i found that the driver of the truck got killed and there were dead gooks about. Might wanna look into that. Oh and the mission didn't end but that's already said before.

And that ends my testing of the first mission. Overall i would say this mission improved about a 100%. See i am not harsh all the time! Now edit!!!!  armata_PDT_35  armata_PDT_18

I will soon test the rest m8.

p.s. Ya have some spelling mistakes in the text the soldiers say but fuck it it's probably all gonna be spoken i figure.

Mission 2:

Nothing much to comment here. Nice clean mission. Just a observation, the squad moved in weird zig zag movement sometimes between 2 checkpoints. This made the trip between them double the size. Well maybe one suggestion, how about using one of them temple pieces just for eyecandy somehwere. Yeah i know Platoon cliche, but still.


My experience in this one:

i had 2 contacts. first one i never saw. my m8's started firing like mad men at some targets close to us. From the reports i counted at least 3 men out there. Never saw them...also didn't fire a round. Just stood there with my gun scanning the ground ahead of me... Second contact, again i saw nobody. But they sure as hell were out there as i got wounded here (Purple heart +1 armata_PDT_28  ). I again didn't fire a single round but i did throw a grenade. Later at debriefing i found out i killed....nobody.

Overall i fired no shot at all! (got latrine duty for that one) We didn't loose anybody in the squad and we had 2 contacts, where i threw one nade. Main thing is i am still alive. 2 missins down and still humpin' strong!

Had another run through, here are some issues:

-Second mission where we are sent to check the jungle, it would be nice that when one of the men in the squad get killed, someone would yell out sth, like "NO! Bloop! You motherfuckers!" Would make it more "personal".
-When we've checked the whole area and start to head back, there's a typo "get the hell outta an dodge". That an shouldn't be there right? armata_PDT_12
-Our squad refuses to board truck. Someone says negative and that's the end of the matter. armata_PDT_10

-Mission four, attack village, does not end. I waited for a good while and even destroyed the tunnels where the enemy was coming out from, but still no luck with it.

-In the mission where your chopper crashes, it would suit if in the option where the player goes along, there would be a cutscene showing the SF team checking it and/or seeing the chopper go down, and then reporting it in. Otherwise, good mission!


That's all I can think of, liking it so far and very eagerly waiting for the next part. armata_PDT_18

Thanks for the testing guys! Still unsure of when I'm gonna be able to update it though  armata_PDT_10 Work is so busy and leaves what little free time I have to see my gf, see my mates and get whatever chores need doing done, hopefully when I get more into the routine of work and things become more second nature, I'll be able to start up on this again  armata_PDT_01

Hey schuler,

Nope it deletes automatically after 7 days. If you have the latest Jungle Fever it was included in that. Remember though it's just a beta. I have no time really to work on it anymore. My job just tires me out and leaves me with no inspiration to edit missions at the end of the day. I will however try and find sometime to adjust this soon, hopefully  armata_PDT_28

I'm attempting to go thru second mission in this campaign and I'm havng major problems with it. After kicking VC's out of the town I'm offered a nice helo trip over jungle or to stay and defend the town against charlie. No matter what I'm going to chose the game just kicks me back to main menu. I have all of the required addons completed. Any ideas guys ?

Not to sure mate, the campaign worked fine when I tested it, then for some odd reason things just go wrong on different peoples computers. I won't be updating this, however you could always de-pbo the campaign if you wish and take a look at the structure of it to see what's wrong. Thanks for playing though  armata_PDT_34

Welcome boot

Dialogue. It could look better if the units could would move their mouth. I use this.

"Secure the APC". The APC is dead. There is nothing to secure. I think it better would be "Secure the point".


Scuffed boot

The 'Sarge' died in previous mission. Now another soldier is 'The Sarge'. I know it's more work to do but it would be better if he would really disappear - from the plot.

While patrolling I hear gunfire coming out of place near M113 wreck. "Hey team leader! Maybe we should help them out?" I asked. "Shit No Shit Way Fuck me" he answered. We got back. All get in truck...



Driver is dead. Mission is broken.

I've played it again and driver was killed again. So I said: "Screw team! I'll take wunderwaffe (PPsh41) and try to do sth.". I've killed the bastards but unfortunately they've managed to kill the driver again.

By the way, leader is far from me but I still can 'see' his words ("That will do it...").

Restarted. This time no VC attacked. Team got back in one piece. Waiting...
....truck got stuck:



After many, many tries, finally when AI driver didn't crash the truck I've completed the FUCKING mission.


Bush walking

There is a short interval between looping rain sound.

Last objective ("return") is ticked right after reaching checkpoint 2.

This mission is damn too long. 1 hour and 30 minutes. Jesus.


Charlies town

Damn, here we go, looks like we're moving out... Repetition. OR here we go OR we're moving out.



Tunnels. Pity that they do not exist. There are two options: or make them or find better excuse.

Mission is broken. It doesn't end.
